The official procurement portal of the educational area shows procedures processed as 'direct contracting under sealed bid,' with files and opening dates published for various programs and services. This extension has reignited debates about controls and expenditure traceability in a sector that is historically sensitive due to the volume of purchases and the dispersion of needs. With this mechanism, the Ministry will be able to carry out agile procedures for purchases, services, and minor works linked to the start and maintenance of classes during the 2026 school calendar.
